It's weird how obvious the handicapped are here. I saw a girl in a wheelchair being pushed by her mom and surrounded by sisters (that alone is odd in Japanese culture where only children are the norm) pushing their way through the crowd. I saw a guy about 30 on crutches with Forrest Gump leg braces fighting with an automatic door. An ancient lady shining shoes from her cardboard box "office". The 80 year old waiter helping his presumed son of 60 run a small ramen shop.
