Super Angie...super ear

Update on my ear.

It didn't rupture! Its swimmers ear. I went to Glenwood Springs on Christmas Eve and I guess thats what its from. UGH! It hurts so bad. Please make the ringing stop! Blood and puss are draining out so I have to have cotton in my ear at all times. The doctor gave me a perscription for my sinus infection (antibiotics) and then some ear drops. He couldn't even see my ear drum because of all the puss and stuff in there. YUCK!

We had a lot of fun yesterday morning. We walked to Keystone lake...its simply gorgeous there. It was kind of funny...I was wearing my Russian olympic coat, and she was wearing her coach's coat from the 1980 Moscow Olympics...we got quite a few questions. LOL

Tons of fun in Keystone with Jenn. So glad she came out. So sad we were both so ill.

I'm so happy to have Jenn here visiting me for a few days. Nevermind that she got altitude sickness and threw up several times, and nevermind my ruptured ear drum and the blood draining out of my ear! We are making the most of things and having fun.

I will admit it was odd to have Christmas just be the three of us. We missed the boys and thought of them a lot. I LOVED when Tanith found the secret hidden card Brennan had made me and had hid in the tree. So tender and sweet of him. Our family may not be perfect, but together, we do make a family, and thats the important thing.

We had so much fun taking Tan skiing today. It was her first time and she had A BLAST! It was all about just having fun in Keystone...mission accomplished!

Super Angie...thinking about what I want

While skating on the lake yesterday, I realized something. I want to be that girl who goes out (like the ones I saw from Indiana) and lands axels and a doubles. I have realized, THIS is what I want. Maybe its selfish. Maybe its ego. Maybe its what I consider as "being a good skater". I don't know. But I do know, when I go to a rink (or a lake!) and see girls landing axels and doubles, to me, this means they are "good". I want to be THAT girl! 2011!! HERE I COME!

It was a beautiful morning on Keystone Lake. The Zamboni cleaned the ice, the sun was shining and Jenni and I did our THANG! Camels, sits, flips, loops, hydroblades...we had a blast! (plus there were two girls from Indiana out there doing double axels and triple sals and toes. AMAZING!!!) Tanith was so cute and loved skating on the lake AND playing in the snow. I was just a beautiful morning. Can't wait to skate on the lake again!
