In December while my dad and Jeff were in town, we all met at Paul's condo club house
We had a lot of good food, treats and family fun
Of course Cohen was the highlight!

 Gifts were given
 Cohen was played with!
 And everyone grew a mustache!

except Rick--he didn't need to grow one! lol

 Homemade gifts were given

and of course...Cohen!

It was so nice to get a babysitter and have some couple time

I was pretty freaked out. Didn't like the ice condition.
Rick did awesome though!

Super Angie...what about you?

What about you?

What would YOU do if you knew you couldn't fail?

How would you make your life better?

What adventures would you go on, if you knew you could.

I believe I can, so I do...

Super Angie...rules for being Super

Rules for being Super.

I believe anyone can be SUPER. I believe anyone, regardless of your "station in life" can achieve one's dreams.

1: Find the positives each day. What are the silver linings? Count your blessings. Keep a THANKFUL jar or a journal. Write down all the good things that are coming your way. Have a bad day, a bad practice, a bad time at work? Flip the situation and start finding all the things that DID go right. There are always GOOD THINGS.

2: Only speak kind words about yourself and others. Especially about yourself. Eliminate phrases like: I'm ugly. I'm fat. I wish I had___.

3: Stop judging others. Stop looking at their life and thinking how great or how wrong it is. Stop looking at the car they drive, the clothes they wear, the house they live in. Stop passing judgment on the sport or activity they do.

4. Dream Big. What do you want to do? Obviously, there are some things that are out of range- like if you are 50 and you want to go to the moon- its probably too late to start a new career at NASA, BUT its not too late to take some courses online about Astronomy. Or its not to late to start volunteering at a flight museum. If you want to get FIT, what is stopping you?

5. Give up things to have great things. You simply can't do it all. If you want to climb mountains, then stop wasting your vacation time doing other things. You must pick and choose. Example: I would LOVE to take a dance class, but right now, Skating is more important to me. So since there are only 24 hours in a day, and I have three children and a husband and church duties, I have decided that right now, only skating. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll be able to fit something else into my life. But for now, if I want to be a good skater, I must fore-go other things...even if the other things are awesome.

I believe everyone has a super power. Stop looking at other people and start realizing what YOUR super power is.

Super Angie...dreams

We are always teaching our kids to follow THEIR dreams.

When we look over Rick's life, he has every reason to be a failure in work and society. He has every reason to have been left in the dust. But instead, he pulled himself up, and got to work. He taught himself how to program. He got a job. He learned more skills and he built himself a company.

Success isn't given to people. Its EARNED.

There will always people who are jealous. People who are TOO WEAK to follow their own dreams. These people WILL discourage you. They will dump on you. They are jealous. They are disappointed with their own life and so they will try to bring you down.

Continue moving up. Continue looking up. And MAKE those dreams happen.

Super Angie...words

Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime.

Super Angie...judge not

Its so easy in life to THINK you know someone and therefore to THINK you can judge them. Did something they do to you, way back when, leave such a negative mark on your heart, that you still judge them now by it? We are all human. Its natural. We all do this.

I'm working on moving past this. Some past judgements are easier then others to let go of. Some, it doesn't hurt to move past. Some, just the thought of reviewing the hurt, hurts too much...which is OK. Leave it alone. Don't worry about that one right now...focus on another past judgement that you can release.

Super Angie...new year

Our winter break is now come to a close.

we had a great time in Colorado. Sun snow wind cold flooding skating hiking eating.

New Year's Eve was so cold that we didn't even left the whole firework show. but we enjoyed it nonetheless. now it's back to regular life in school in training and cleaning and all the things that come with being home.

we feel blessed everyday to have our family and to be healthy and strong.

happy new years!
