So, this year (in Dec), Dallin will be baptized into the LDS church. Question for those who have kids already baptized, or for those who were once a kid (lol)....any traditions, or ideas for getting ready to be baptized?
Did you do something each month?
Did you have to memorize anything?
Go anywhere?
Also, he will be starting scouts when he turns 8. Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks!

Wow that is exciting. I don't have kids yet so I don't have a lot of advice. But I do remember my grandma passed around the same baptism book to each of her grandkids. We would read it with our parents and then sign it and send it to the next grandkid that was going to be baptized. I don't know if that is possible with your family, but you could do it with all your kids. I loved getting a book that all my cousins had read. It made it special to me. I also got my first set of engraved scriptures that day. I still have them!!! :)
