Tanith is an amazing little girl. She is just barely two and yet, daily blows us all away with her speaking ability. She REALLY enjoyed the Scentsy party my mom and I hosted. She made herself at home and opened all the containers and encouraged us all to sniff along with her. She kept saying everything was "yummy" or "smells like lotion". Maybe she will sell Scentsy when she is older--who knows! She sure enjoyed doing a "girlie" thing.
Later today, in the car, we were listening to The Chipmunks (of course!!) and they say in one of the songs, "Everybody do it!" and to my surprise, from the backseat, a tiny voice sung along perfectly. What two year says that??

It's almost frightening, the things she says - and it's not just mimic - she understands it.
Jared was like that, speaking in full sentences by age 18 months and very much a dangerous parrot who understood what he repeated. We became very careful about what we discussed in the car and he helped us completely ban expletives from our every day language:)
