Rick left last night for Alaska. He'll be gone on an expedition for several weeks. His return date is unknown because they are going to a very remote area to do glacier work, so its dependant on weather--if the weather is poor, then they have to wait to ski out, or catch a small plane out.
I'm really excited for him. He will be doing some summit bids, glacier travel, cravesse rescues,rock climbing, ice climbing, avalache rescues and advanced rope work. He is gonna have a blast!
But he'll be out in the middle of no-where, without cell phones, so if I seem a bit needy in the next few weeks, I'm just really missing him.
