Super Angie... China 2009--56 Pillars on Tiananmen Square

Of course our tour visited Tianamen Square, but since my dad and I had both been there before (each 3 times), we didn't want to do the traditional "thing" there. Plus it was really cold and rainy. Brrr...

For the 60th anniversary of China, they have added 56 pillars to the square. Each pillar represents the 56 regions of China--they are all folk dancers from those regions.

I stood in front of each pillar and did my interpetation of the dancers painted on the pillar. It was the most fun I have ever had on the Square.
