Well, our 4th of July wasn't all that great.
We went to church and found that everyone else had the same idea, and there were literally no more chairs left. So after taking the sacrament, we left.
We wandered around town, had lunch, came home, did pretty much nothing and then a big storm came in. It started raining. We decided walking to Keystone Lake in the rain was more then we wanted, so we jumped in the car and headed to Dillon. There were sooo many people walking around that we figured the fireworks by the lake would be GREAT. We drove along the shore of Lake Dillon, parked and waited....and waited... and waited. 1 1/2 hours. We could see the lights from the fireworks from Keystone, Breckenridge and Frisco, but nothing happened in Dillon. Finally it was obvious Frisco had finished their fireworks and suddenly, everyone in Dillon left.
No fireworks in Dillon I guess...
So...next year we know... go to Keystone, Frisco or Breck...not Dillon!
