When I first saw the Flatirons, I will be honest, I was scared of them. I think its left over fear from being in Utah and having such horrible reactions to being outside. Honestly, I'm scared to hike around in Utah...
Anyway, but now I love the Flatirons and couldn't wait to take Tan and Brennan on a hike. They had so much fun chasing bugs, crushing plants and getting "bloody" fingers and climbing on rocks. We didn't even come close to reaching the base of the mountains, but it was a fantastic hike.
