I told myself that today I would be fine. No butterflies. No breakdowns and no crying. yeah right. I broke down. I cried. And the butterflies...there were so many...
UNTIL...
a few friends at the rink talked to me.
Melissa and I talked about my knee pain.
Nancy talked to me about leaving everything outside the rink. "skating is fun, thats why we're here, right?!"
Nikki and Joe gave me tips for my camel spin and showered me with compliments.
The butterflies flew. The tears cleared up. And I laughed. And skated great....because I skated from my heart--celebrating the joy I find in skating.
I'm ready for St. Louis!
