Brennan has had a loose tooth for about a week and a half. Almost daily he would say, "I think today my tooth will fall out" and then at the end of the day, he would be crushed. He asked questions. Was anxious and maybe a bit nervous. He was VERY VERY VERY excited to loose his first tooth.
We went out for dinner as a family. The ride to the restaurant, he was particularly whiny about the tooth. He was even thinking he wouldn't be able to eat anything because it hurt so bad.
We sat down and started looking at the menu when all of the sudden he said "MY TOOTH!" and there it was, laying on the table! :) Talk about happy happy kid! I took him to the bathroom mirror and helped him see his new hole.
Such a fun day.
And of course the tooth fairy came and left a whole lot of glitter everywhere and two quarters!
Yea Brennan!!!

i think you are the first person i've heard of lately who's tooth fairy pays LESS than mine! i'm always feeling like such a cheapskate when i hear about kids getting like 5 bucks a tooth! (which, btw, i think is ridicuous!) we do 4 quarters. always quarters... i don't know why, but that's just the way it's been. oh, and if the tooth fairy forgets, she pays interest. LOL. an extra quarter! ;)
