My fabulous coach Brianna Hatch and me
Rick and I. My biggest supporter
Always fun seeing the Olympic rings. It never gets old, even if this is my home rink. I love training at a 2002 Olympic Venue!
Yup! Its Silver!~
I love how the red ribbon totally matches my dress and Sochi coat. hee hee
Pretty close scores for 1st and 2nd.
Chelsea came and gave me the best compliment. "Your arms were beautiful!" Coming from a professional ballerina and instructor, this was a HUGE compliment. Thanks babe!
Look at my collection of tossies. I think the snake is my favorite...so funny!
Jean and I...Gold and Silver!
I was extremely nervous and distracted going into my freeskate. My boots didn't feel quite right and my mind was wandering. I was noticing others around me, people in the audience and a famous coach nearby. I didn't skate like I do in practice. I botched my lutz/loop/loop--just like I did at Winter Games. I'm not sure whats up with that. I love the new entrance into the jump sequence. I just let me mind drift and didn't complete my elements like I usually do. I'm upset about that, but happy that I never gave up, faught for the rest of the program and even threw in an extra combination at the end. I'm very happy with my presentation and feel like I have improved a lot. I got a ton of positive feedback which is always nice. I even had total strangers chase me down in the stands to talk about my skate. Over all, it was a great first experience at Sectionals. Can't wait for next year!
