Tanith's loving Primary teacher, Sister Doran, bought over this fun Easter bag yesterday. What a very special treat from a loving neighbor and teacher.

I really enjoyed going to Pacific Coast Sectionals and even better that it was held at my home rink! I had a blast visiting with friends, meeting new people and watching some really solid skating. I also saw lots of falls and lots of really bad skates--which helps me to remember that no one can be perfect all the time.
My second program at Sectionals was on Sunday morning. I skated to ALONE by Heart. It is one of my all time favorite programs. I skated it clean-- hit all my jumps just fine--loop/loop and lutz/loop and did a great sit spin. My headless spin traveled but oh well. I loved my costume and just felt great. Sadly, the judging didn't go my way and even when skating my very best, I only got bronze. But I'm very proud of it and really happy with the way I kept myself composed. It was a very dramatic performance.
The last program I competed with at Sectionals was my Lite Entertainment program to "Just Can't Get Enough" by Depeche Mode. It was a fun, light hearted/cheeky routine. I down graded my jump sequence from 4 loops in a row to just 2. My boots were feeling strange and I was just exhausted. I placed 2nd.
I loved my purple dress. Kellyn stoned it for me. I like how it turned out.
It was really fun having Paul's family come to cheer me on. I really appreciated all the cheering and the fun gifts people threw on the ice for me.
I found this yummy "craft" on Pinterest and thought I'd do it with the kids. It was a bit harder then the original poster made it sound, but we had fun non-the-less. The best part...I don't like Butterscotch so the only things tempting me are the peeps and the mini eggs.Tanith enjoying her pink Peep
They turned out cute, but again, next time I will do a few things different with the recipe. Dallin ate his peep first and is now working on the nest. So cute!
I feel like SUPER ANGIE because I actually made something I found on Pinterest. lol
After Skate for Hope rehearsals, Ciara and her mom Patti, stayed in town for a few weeks. We LOVED having them a part of our rink. Lots of laughs. Lots of smiles. Lots of enthusiasm at practice. I learned a lot and was pushed by Ciara. Tanith LOVED being with Patti in the stands.
Some highlights: Watching Ciara do a triple axel on the harness and then land a double axel off the harness. Doing spins with Ciara. Snow angels on ice with Bri. Sliding on our butts. LAUGHING! Practicing spirals together and just having a blast!
I am Super Angie...a regular mom, who is sure her neighbors can all hear her scream at her kids. A regular mom who is trying to keep her house tidy, but often gives up to go update her status on Facebook. A regular mom who loves ROCK CLIMBING, ICE CLIMBING, FIGURE and SPEED SKATING and TRAVELING. A regular mom who adores her SUPER husband, her Super son Dallin, Super son Brennan and Super daughter Tanith. I am Super Angie and I believe in finding the SUPER moments in the everyday small and simple things we do.
