Super Angie...5K race

Dallin's school is hosting a 5K run/walk and kids fun run. I'm way excited for my kids to do the kids race because every kid gets a ribbon. Plus there will be a raffle at the end, refreshments, prizes and just lots of fun.

Anyone want to come have fun with me?

Super Angie...another climbing comp

On Friday, Rick and I competed at THE MASTERS OF TOP ROPE comp at Momentum. It was a red point comp, which meant A LOT OF LINES! I have decided I really don't like Red Pointing. I prefer just to do the on-site comps...I think they are more fun.

Anyway, neither Rick or I were climbing up to our best, and I think we both came in last place. LOL Oh well!

It was still a fun evening. And the MORCS (moms of rock climbers) beat the DORCS (dads of rock climbers). YEAH BABY! MORCS ROCK! lol

Super Angie... G'Day!

We had such a great weekend--lots of time spent together, working in the yard, the house, running errands. Watching TV all cuddled together on the couch. Cleaning, organizing, building the tramp.

So, we ended the weekend by going to OUTBACK for dinner. YUM! Everyone enjoyed their meals, and Tanith actually surprised us by eating A LOT! It was great! :)

I sure do LOVE my family!

Super Angie...construction day

Saturday, we finally put together the wonderful gift Santa brought our family. This is a spring-less tramp and was really strange to put together. We totally got a workout pulling the tramp bed into place. The kids helped by staying out of the way and taking the cardboard to the trash.

Rick tested it out, but I didn't get any pictures. Then it was my turn. YEA! I love having a tramp again!

Super Angie...For the beauty of the earth

This weekend, we found a nice little surprise in our tree. A beautiful Robin has made it her home. She is big and we think she hasn't laid her eggs yet. She sits contently in her beautiful nest which is so well constructed. Rick and I just sat and stared at this beautiful site.

Super Angie...last minute

We skipped everything we had planned on Wednesday night and went out and enjoyed the 80 degree temps.
Rick hooked up a top rope to the 5.7 at Draper Red Rock and we Dallin took a turn. He is so scared of heights, but with the right incentives (a milk shake on the way home), he did just fine.

Brennan did AWESOME on the 5.7
Dallin took all the pictures of B and did a nice job!
Brennan is a natural outside and just really enjoys it. He actually climbed this route twice!

The boys wanted to boulder in the cave and both did a fabulous job.**Brennan being silly--laying down on top of the boulder

Dallin too did awesome with his bouldering.

It was a really nice evening of climbing.

Super Angie..worms from daddy

The other night, Rick was working out in the yard and he gave Tannie a precious little gift...a worm. Ever the little explorer, she just LOVED this gift.

Thanks Daddy!

Super Angie...Friends Forever

We have been blessed with new neighbors who have three kids (boy boy girl), the EXACT same age as ours!!! Tanith and Molly have quickly become best buddies.

Heres some pics of them jumping together.

Super Angie...more spring break pics

Our last night in Keystone, we headed to the Silverthorne Rec Center to swim. The pool was just great and we could watch the falling snow from the warmth of the wading pool. :) All three kids LOVED the whale slide and the log cabin play house.

We will most certainly go back next time we're in town.

Super Angie...finders keepers

So, an absolutely amazing thing happened this morning...

I CLEANED!

Yes folks, thats right. I actually hauled the vacuum up to Tanith's room. I picked up odds and ends, and cleaned her room. Yup...it is something special! The stars and moon all aligned right and now her room is perfectly neat.
While straightening out her closet, I found a box that I thought just had my old cabbage patch kid dolls in it (oh man, I have so many great Angie Hand Me Downs to give Tan...talk about not having to buy Christmas and Birthday gifts!!!). I dug a little in the box to make room for other things and noticed three small bags. "Um..." i thought... " those bags are from my trip to Japan in 2006!" LOL Sure enough. Two Thomas lunch boxes that we bought near Mt. Fuji and some candy, a magnet, a keyring and dried sea-weed. Oops! I guess I forgot that I "hid" them away for Christmas 2006. Hmmm....

Here's Tannie's bookshelf...the same one I had when I was a teen! I organized her two big baskets--one has some fluffy skirts and church dresses in it, the other has puzzels and books.
I should have taken a before and after picture, but honestly, I didn't think I would actually clean out the closet beforehand! lol This closet was stacked all the way to the top with boxes of too small baby clothes. Some of the boxes were only half full. I combined them, smashed them down, added more clothes and hauled three stuffed boxes to the basement! Yea! Now this closet only has two boxes in it--which have the old cabbage patch kids in it etc, an eddie bauer bag with quilts and blankets in it, and an empty box that I can add more clothes that don't fit, if I find more. Hanging up is Tanith's blessing dress, Dallin and Brennan's blessing outfit, Brennan's old coat (will fit Tan ) and a coat I bought Tan in Breck this past week--its a size 4 and Obermeyer brand. Sweet sale! :)
And here is the finished idea...I moved the plastic yellow table up, put her Calico Critter's doll house on it, my old raggedy ann doll, my old cat lamp, and I hung up some of her sweaters and coats on her changing table. Look at the floor!!! Its clean!

Ah, it feels great!

A miracle has happened. :)

Super Angie...a snowy day in Breckenridge

We love going to Breck. There was plenty of new snow for the kids to get introuble with as we walked main street. I look forward to the time I can go to Breck without kids though...such fun shopping to be done!--Any ladies want to come shop with me in Breck this summer? ;)

We enjoyed buying Sunglasses from Marty's and chatting with Annie. We bought cookies from Mary's Mountain Cookies--YUM! and enjoyed seeing the horse and carriage, and the bronze Donkey statue--always a favorite! :) Tan even tried feeding her cookie to it!
