Super Angie...4th of July weekend--Snow in July!

After Bear Adventure, we went to Glacier National Park. The Road to the Sun was open, so we took it up to Logan Pass. There was some construction,  so we did have to stop for that, but the ride was nice and we enjoyed pointing out different waterfalls to the kids.
We loved the Weeping Wall.
Its a rock face of non-stop waterfalls cascading down on the road. On our drive down from Logan Pass, I actually drove through the waterfalls, with Dallin's window open! I had no idea the whole inside of the car would get as soaked as it did. We had a blast though. I think they all thought, "Mama is CRAZY!"
Rick and Tanith had fun outside by the weeping wall.

The highlight of the trip was Logan pass. Well..besides Tanith throwing up all over me and having to change her clothes, we had so much fun!
 Dallin found this squirrel.
Logan pass still had about 10 feet of snow, so of course all the boys (including Rick) played till their hands were frozen.

We were thrilled to see mountain goats up there too. One was licking the minerals off the road, in front of our car. We were so close to him! Really amazing sight. At first I thought he might be sickly--so skinny and  his fur was falling off, but then Rick told me thats normal for the spring.
They shed their thick winter coat and have to start eating more since winter was so harsh. Later we saw some more, playing on some rocks.
Suddenly, one of them bounced down the cliff and came down on a snow field. We stopped and took pictures. Tanith LOVED the goats. "GOAT!" she yelled. So cute. The biggest surprise was when a baby mountain goat came running down the snow hill, chasing the bigger one. Later we saw a big horn sheep too. What an amazing site to see God's creatures.

Glacier National Park really brought our family together.
