Super Angie...teddy bear project
Every year the boy's school does a Teddy Bear Project when they all bring in bears to give away to a needy cause. This year it was the American Fork fire department--they like to keep bears to sick or injured or scared kids.
Anyway, they made our day by bring a huge fire truck with a HUGE ladder. The kids stand in line, starting at the Christmas tree in the foyor, and give every bear a hug as they pass it down the line, student to student, until finally, its at the fire truck. Hug after hug.
The kids loved meeting the firemen, hugging the bears and doing some service.

I love the idea of the bears going to kids from kids with that many hugs built in! We did the teddy bear patrol for a while at Ben Rush, but we never did the line and hand off like that. I think it's sweet!
Don't you just love ALA!
