We arrived in ZION at around 5pm on Wednesday night. We checked into our cabin at ZION LODGE and then headed out to find a fire pit where we could have a camp fire to cook our tin foil dinners on.Grotto Picnic area was under construction, which meant, no fire pits. So we headed to the camp ground to ask their advice. The campground hosts were AMAZINGLY NICE and let us take campsite 91 for 2 hours. So, we made ourselves at home, started a fire, cooked our food and tried hard not to step on the cactus.
We had a great dinner and came away smelling like campfire...ah...nothing better!
