For dinner on Day 2, we went to the grotto picnic area, found a picnic table away from the big tree full of bees and Rick used his JetBoil to make Mac and Cheese for the kids. Again, it was nice to just be outside. Before going to the Grotto, we drove out of the park to Springdale to buy some
After dinner,
Then we walked across the street and enjoyed walking along the river trail. The kids played in the mud by the shore--using sticks to write their names in the mud. Tanith and Rick took off their shoes and went out in the freezing water. Brrrr!

It looks like so much fun! All 3 days! We're heading to Moab for part of Spring Break and spending time in Arches & Canyonlands! I love Arches! In May, we're hitting Zions (end of school fun!). I love exploring the Great Outdoors!
