This is Rick, posting for Angie, who is on a plane.
Amid all the turmoil of leaving, and waffling, and finally deciding to go, we dropped her off at the airport, and though I don't think she could see it, Tan waved at her as she entered the TSA line.
Her Delta flight out of SLC had a cracked, or loose, or leaky window in the cockpit (can you imagine at 30,000' the pilot getting sucked out as the window spiderwebs into oblivion?) so after deciding that chewing gum or whatever ten-minute solution wouldn't work, they had to change planes and gates, but on they went, only an hour late, to LAX.
Once there, some of her Murdock group decided to eat, since it was about their new time-zone lunch time, and they had to go through TSA again, and catch a bus to the Asiana gates.
With several mishaps from the group, including having the LAX Shuttle driver slam the door on some and peel out without them (they made the next one on time) and a lost passport (poor girl will have to miss a day and come out after getting her passport overnighted) they were enplaned.
Poor Angie was stressing, since they somehow mixed up her seat and stuck her by a window, causing her much heartache and stress. We prayed together on the phone, and miraculously someone switched with her to get the seat she wanted. Amazing.
It reminded me of a story about Frontier and Travelocity - check my blog for details if curious.
Well, off to bed now - have to get the kids up for school in about 5 hours. If Tan and the boys last that long.
Been raining all evening. Missing Angie. TTYL.
