Super Angie...Mt Rainier...PART TWELVE....down and out

Well, we made it down to Paradise. I ended up carrying a 40 lb pack down. I'm so amazed and proud of myself. I have a long history about carrying packs that I won't go into, but to say that I am most proud of this accomplishment. Rainier was fabulous. I learned so many things and can't wait for next summer. SUMMIT HERE I COME!

Wow, these pics should be in Outdoor magazine! Honestly you are one tough little lady. Very Very cool that you did this! I love all of the pictures, seriously it paints exactly what went on, minus the exhaustion, seriously you great in every pic, how are you not dying in these. You go girl!

Gosh, thanks everyone. I'm so extremely proud of myself. I have never attempted anything like this and it was just incredible. I can't wait to go again.

I was checking in for a Rainier report and didn't realize it would be in 12 parts! So, I'll have to come back to read them all. I have loads on my plate today. I can't wait to read the whole story and think you are truly SUPER for doing this! Glad you are down the mountain safe.

Way to go on carrying a 40lb pack. I sure know I couldn't do it. Yet I was able to carry 55 extra lbs with Aspen ;) But I still couldn't do it hiking.

You guys have had a fun adventure packed summer! Lots of memories.
