Super Angie...last call for free rock climbing

This Tuesday (tomorrow!) Momentum Indoor Climbing in Sandy, UT is having a "bring a friend for free" day.

So far, I don't have ANY FRIENDS and neither does Rick! Don't ya want to be our friend and come climb for a few hours in the evening? (probably 6-9 but we are flexible on the time)

I'm really sad. I'd love to have a friend... We'd love to take you!!

PS...you can bring your kids under 11 yrs old with FOR FREE!

Ang, that sounds like so much fun! If I lived closer I would be there. I have always wanted to try climbing.

One thing to keep in mind is that these offers at the gym sortof come and go. The intention is good, the response unanticipated, so they either cancel it after one try, or pull back and mutate it to something else.

So don't sit there going "maybe I'll try it in a few months" - the gym may cancel January entirely and not put it on the calendar.

You've been warned...

Good point...and normal prices are $15 plus $5 for rental, so $20 per person!

Also, in case it's an issue, we both have extra shoes and harnesses, ranging from size 24 - 40" waist and women's and mens shoes. Let us know what sizes you need and we'll see if we have any.

Hey Angie,
I have had to make my blog private and it should only be accessible now to people I have invited. I would love to set the blog up so you can still access it, but will need you to send me your email so I can set this up as such. My email is laurence.tryon@hotmail.com

As for the climbing, it is something I have always wanted to try. I had a knee injury last year that sidelined me from running and I am very slowly getting back into it, using the Couch to 5K program so I don't overdo it too soon.

Michelle (the 12 year old) tried climbing on a field trip with her school and was told she has an amazing ability and instinct for the sport.

Angie,
it was so good to see you Sunday at the Primary program. I didn't really take the chance to tell you how cute you were looking. Thank you for coming up and talking to me, I really appreciate your friendship and the way you are so good to my little Jen. You are the best and so brave to do rock climbing.
