Super Angie...Seattle trip #1

We had such a wonderful trip to Seattle this past weekend. The first day was a tough one--we woke up at 3am to catch our 6:30 flight! YIKES! By the time we went to bed that night (7pm! lol) we had been awake for 17 hours.

The weather was wonderful--not typical Fall weather. Everyone did mostly good on the flight up there. Tanith loved sitting next to Rick and looking out the window. We saw Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams and Mount St. Helens.

After we arrived, Rick decided because of the forecast, it would be best for him to wait one day before starting his climb on Mt. Rainier, so we spent Thursday enjoying being together as a family.

First stop was my favorite resturant, Ruby's Diner. YUM! I ate the Super Burger and a blackforest malt.

The kids enjoyed their kid's meal menus which folded up into these boats. They had a blast putting stickers all over the boat.

Its a good thing we don't live close to a Ruby's Diner...I would want to eat there daily! It was nice to be back in Redmond. I was amazed at how tall all the trees have grown in the Towne Center since I lived there 5 yrs ago. I miss "home".
